about

Well well well! Here we are again!

Recently I got my butt kicked into "un-quitting" music by a couple of people, so I've been going through all my stuff and finishing half written songs, reworking old ones, and writing new ones.

Whilst doing that, I found a whole archive of demos that I thought were decent enough to put on this compilation - I hope you like them, most will be remade for the new release. I also threw on a couple of my old band Out of Luck's tracks because (although a bit shoddy, I mean they were 2001/2) they are still great tunes.

(The 2 Out of Luck tracks come as bonus tracks when you download this)

Thanks for all your support guys and gals, love you loads x

Well this is awkward. Biographies are always so full of ego so I'll try and keep it to a minimum! Been doing this longer than most, and often get called the Ska Belle & Sebastian, which isn't such a bad thing... I like to think of my songs as being of the Agora-Socia-Phobi-Ska genre, but it doesn't exist so Ska/Reggae/Rocksteady will have to do. ... more

Track Name: Regrets and Smoking Kills
Still paying the cost for the last infraction, I never should have crossed in the dark attraction,
I could’ve been strong, I wouldn’t stay long and I didn’t think we could’ve been so wrong.
And if running the course is the only action, then I don’t think I’ll ever get to see redemption,
I wanna be wrong, deliver me from all the sins that I’ve written in this song.
Thank you for being my only regret; it’s a medal of honour for you to collect,
If smoking kills, you infect, maybe if I quit then I’ll forget
I’ve prayed that it’s all just a work of fiction, and I might get to wake with a new addiction,
I’ve come so far, and been so near, but it’s clear that I’m quickly running out of years,
So I make mistakes but I take advantage of the fact that I know wishes can be granted, til now I had none, but now I’ve got one – and I didn’t think you could’ve been…
Thank you for being my only regret; it’s a medal of honour for you to collect,
If smoking kills, you infect, maybe if I quit then I’ll forget
Track Name: The Habit
Why hold me under when you could just set me free?
I've always wondered how we got so close so easily.
It could be everything I like, and want, and need,
And I'll be your prisoner as long as you want me…
And I don’t mind if I’m wasting all my precious time,
You’re all mine, but the punishment don’t fit the crime and that’s why
I won’t lie, I wish that I could say goodbye,
But you’re all mine, and I’ll take you and I’ll break you.
Why did you take me to the point of no return?
Knowing full well I’d blindly dismiss all those things I learned,
Sometimes I look inside and see a false reality,
I wish I understood the person who I claim to be…
And I don’t mind if I’m wasting all my precious time,
You’re all mine, but the punishment don’t fit the crime and that’s why
I won’t lie, I wish that I could say goodbye,
But you’re all mine, and I’ll take you and I’ll break you.
Track Name: These 3 Words (Sans Drums)
If you miss me when I’m gone and think about me too,
Lose your concentration baby, that could be a clue,
Staring at your mobile phone you wish the day away,
And when I’m heading to your arms I really want to say…

These 3 words –
‘I like you’,
‘I want you’,
But I can’t say ‘I love you’,
I might do, mislead you,
No, I don’t want to need you,
Although I know I do,
I’ll say ‘I don’t’ to please you
I like you, I want you,
But I can’t seem to have you…

“If you want me, you can’t have me” games are for the pros,
We might not think the same way, but definitely know –
If there’s a spark inside, we should just let it glow,
I digitized my sentiment so I can let you know…
Track Name: Release
You went away a different person to who we've had returned,
And I can't deny the simpleness of the lesson that you've learned,
And my respect has been tried in your eyes, and if it happened again...
I'd shake your hand, and wish you good luck, because the next time it would be the end.

I never knew I could be so strong,
I never thought I'd lose my friend,
One thing you said, and I will always know, is you I can depend.

This twist of fate is what you needed and now you'll see what i mean,
and something that I've learnt from you is that you'll always be a part of me, and it's only now i realise it was meant to be.
I respect you for how far you've come since you were taken away, I know there's nothing to say until i see you again.
